Built for Multi-Profile Panel Production
The SS4E-HD is designed for roofing contractors, metal panel manufacturers and fabrication businesses that need more flexibility than a single-profile roll former can provide. Interchangeable forming tooling allows the machine to be configured for different panel styles and production requirements.
The production process starts with a metal coil and runs through feeding, automatic pre-notching, roll forming and hydraulic cutting. PLC controls allow the operator to set panel length, quantity and automated processing functions.

Automatic Pre-Notching & Hydraulic Shearing
The hydraulic pre-notching system creates consistent rectangular notches at both ends of the panel before the legs are formed. A 1" flat tab remains for the finished panel end.
After forming, the hydraulic exit shear cuts through the remaining flat section instead of cutting through fully formed panel edges. This helps reduce manual snipping and provides more consistent panel preparation.

Mobile or Permanent Installation
The SS4E-HD can be configured for mobile production or a permanent shop environment. Trailer mounting, dual overhead reel racks, expandable arbor reels and warehouse decoiler configurations are available. An optional electric hydraulic station can be specified for workshop installations.
The standard Honda gas-powered hydraulic system is particularly useful for contractors who manufacture panels at the job site or in locations where electrical power is limited.
